2006/07 School Sport Survey, Susannah Quick, TNS The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) commissioned TNS, an independent research company, to conduct the fourth survey among schools in the School Sport Partnership Programme.  The survey aimed to collect information about levels of participation in physical education (PE) and school sport in partnership schools.  It took place during May – July 2007, and involved data being submitted by 21,745 schools. This represents a response rate of 99%.

An Evaluation of the School Sport Partnership Programme 2005, TNS Social Research The Department for Education and Skills (DfES) commissioned TNS to conduct an audit among schools in the School Sport Partnership Programme.  The survey was conducted among all schools in the programme during May, June and July 2005.  11,498 of the partnership schools submitted data, representing a response of 95%.  This was the second such audit conducted by TNS, fieldwork for the first place in 2003/04.
